Help us build a powerful set of tools to create and manage rich interactive content for desktop and mobile devices. Be part of a small international team and work at an exciting startup near Zurich. Responsibilities will be broad and tailored to the skills and passions of the candidate, and will include the following:

Responsibilities:

• Take the lead role in implementing a new class of rich web applications
• Interface with the design team to bring their user experience designs to life
• Target a specific browser engine, WebKit, to push its limits and make rich applications
• Visual design of content
  
• Take part in design development and usability of mobile UIs
  
• Depending on profile, also software development on mobile platforms (iPad/iPhone, Android)
  

Skills and Experience:

• The number of years of experience you have is not as important as your skills
• Experience with HTML5-related technologies
• Excellent Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3 animation technologies
• Really strong JavaScript proficiency and some experience with one or more JS frameworks like MooTools, jQuery, Dojo, SproutCore, or Cappuccino
• Good typography and page layout skills
• Experience with illustration, icon design, and/or animation
• Basic knowledge in software development, experience with versioning tools (SVN, git) and knowledge in C++ (Qt), Objective-C or Java would be a plus

Although this position is viewed as an individual contributor role, the company is growing, and we'd consider people with the experience to grow into management roles, too.
